Welcome to the homepage of the course "Advanced Object-Oriented Design Techniques". This course is taught every winter semester by members of the Software Technology group with the college of computer science at the Darmstadt Institute of Technology. Advanced OO? Isn't OO advanced enough? This question is answered forever by Dijkstra in the following:
"To put it quite bluntly: as long as there were no machines, programming was no problem at all; when we had a few weak computers, programming became a a mild problem, and now we have gigantic computers, programming has become a gigantic problem."Edsger W. Dijkstra, ACM Turing Award Lecture,
presented in Boston, on August 14, 1972
Exam
The exam will take place on Monday, February 16th 2004, 8:00-10:00 a.m. in S2/06/030.
