ECOOP /
PostersAt ECOOP, traditionally, there is a poster exhibition,
addressing object-oriented technology and theory. Posters are an excellent forum
for authors to present their ongoing research to the ECOOP audience in an
informal and interactive way.
Posters provide authors with a unique opportunity to get feedback and make
their work highly visible during the conference. Posters are especially useful
for presenting new ideas that have not yet been developed to the point of a
regular paper. PhD students are particularly encouraged to submit a proposal
describing their work.
Posters will be on display during the entire conference. Authors are required
to attend the scheduled interactive poster session, staying with their poster so
that they can discuss their work with conference attendees. Time will be
arranged during the conference for poster authors to discuss their work
one-on-one directly with interested conference participants.
Successful posters are carefully designed to convey technical details and
have a strong visual impact that attracts the attention of attendees as they
stroll past the displays, either during the interactive poster session or at
other times during the conference.
As in previous years there are plans for the edition of a post conference
reader that will include a chapter dedicated to posters.
