REScala - A Programming Platform for Reactive Data-intensive Applications
The next generation of applications promise to innovate the economy and induce great social impact on a wide range of fields, including production, mobility, energy and health. Such next-generation technology, however, is not only expensive but also difficult to develop, deploy, and maintain. The aim of the EU-funded project REScala is to provide a package that affords necessary programming tools to support the cost-effective and quality-ensuring implementation of next-generation data-driven reactive applications. These involve combining intelligent user interfaces and computations that promise to unleash similar potential as that borne by the invention of smartphone platforms.
Professor Dr. Mira Mezini was the principal investigator.
